Bobry są wspaniałymi architektami krajobrazu, ich działalność może odtwarzać zniszczone mokradła i stwarzać środowisko życia dla wielu gatunków roślin i zwierząt, może również powodować konflikty z właścicielami gruntów. Konflikty te musza zostać rozwiązane w celu ochrony bobrów na terenach zagospodarowanych przez człowieka.
